Online reviews can help when choosing a clinic, but they are not enough alone. Checking information against several sources is more reliable.
What to look at in a clinic
- Licence, specialty and experience details of the physician and facility
- The technology used and hygiene standards
- A written offer with a clear scope
- The follow-up and communication plan after the procedure
When judging reviews
- Look at more than one independent source (for example Google, Trustpilot), not just a single platform.
- Look at the content and date of reviews, not only the star rating.
- Read both positive and negative reviews; note how the clinic responds to the negative ones.
- Be cautious about overly formulaic reviews that all use the same language.
Before-and-after photos
Photos give an idea, but because of lighting, angle and individual differences they do not guarantee a result.
The last step
Ask the clinic direct questions and request a preliminary conversation with the physician. How clear and consistent the answers are is a good indicator when judging trust.
